Boulevard 10 Cinema on Schedule for Spring Opening

Miramar Beach, Fla., (December 17, 2012) - Construction of Carmike's Boulevard 10 Cinema is on schedule for a Spring Break 2013 grand opening. This is Walton County’s first movie theatre and is a state-of-the-art 10 screen movie theatre that will seat a total of 1,800 people. Among its unique features is a "BIG D" large-screen format auditorium that includes a wall to wall, floor to ceiling screen that is 60 feet wide and three stories high. It also includes plush leather high-back rocking seats and 7.1 surround sound and digital projection of both 2D and 3D features. There are only 14 BIG D auditoriums in the country and this is the first one in Florida. The quality and clarity of the BIG D will create an amazing experience for movie-goers. Boulevard 10 will also feature The Ovation Club, a showcase within the theatre offering a more intimate movie-going experience with lush leather seating, swing around tables, a wall-to-wall screen, premium food made to order and adult beverages.
